HC Refuses to Reinstate Trial Court Staff
Justice Hema Kohli dismissed a petition filed by Rishipal, a process server in Tis Hazari Court, challenging the April 2006 order passed by the Administrative Civil Judge terminating him from the job for not serving the summons twice in a probate case.
"The charges that were proved against the petitioner were serious in nature, the job of a process server, being an important ingredient in the smooth and efficient functioning of the courts," the Court observed.
