Personal Attorney Service Launches Electronic Filing in California Superior Courts

Sacramento, CA, May 22, 2006 --(PR.COM)-- Premiere Legal Support Services provider Personal Attorney Service in cooperation with Lawdex Corporation announced today their successful live electronic filing into Sacramento County's Superior Court. Sacramento represents the first court in the state, through its Unlawful Detainer Unit, to initiate open-access electronic filing available to all filers on the web.

The California Administrative Office of the Courts has initiated e-filing in Sacramento as part of a wider effort to electronically integrate court record systems for every jurisdiction in the state. State developers and proponents expect this effort to near completion within five years. In addition to its e-file provisions, the project will allow all of the state's courts to share case management records electronically.
