Process Server Makes Living Delivering Court Papers

If you see a slender, spunky woman wearing a cowboy hat and clutching papers, be cool.

It's R. Scott, whose job as a process server -- someone who serves court papers -- is both dangerous and a critical part of the justice system.

"It's definitely important, because that's how you initiate a case," said Wendy Potts, chief judge of Oakland County Circuit Court. "They've got a lot of responsibility."
