Towle's Trailer Park Residents Fight Eviction Notices

Towle's Trailer Park Residents Fight Eviction Notices: "Five residents of Towle's Trailer Park have been served eviction notices for being behind on their rent.

But the attorney for the developers who bought the land and have given all residents eviction notices for the end of this year said the tenants can bring their rents up-to-date and not be evicted until December.

That is when the mobile home park must be removed to make way for a planned development.

John R. McKinnon, an attorney for the owners of the trailer park, said Friday the five tenants served the notices have time to bring their late rent up to date so as to avoid being evicted. In some cases people are four and five months behind on their rent, he said."
